"24 Days to Christmas" Countdown - Crocheted Slippers

This year I thought it would be nice to do a Christmas countdown, showing off things I have made as gifts and ornaments either this year or in previous years. If you are wanting to make handmade gifts for your loved ones this year, then keep watching because I hope to put an awesome Christmas related tutorial or recipe up every day until Christmas Eve. Today is day 9!

Today I want to share a cute pair of slippers. They took me less than 2 hours to make and would make an awesome present for any woman in your life. I made these ones as a gift for someone in my family, so try and look surprised if you open them on Christmas Day ;)

To make my slippers, I used two strands of DK yarn held together and a 6mm crochet hook. You can use thicker yarn instead of holding two together, I just used what I had on hand.

These slippers fit up to an adult size UK 7.

Gauge: At the end of round 9, your slipper should measure 3.5". The finished slipper should measure 9.5".
